OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN ACADEMIC RESEARCH
(with special reference to Life science, Drug and Pharmaceutical Research)

B. V. Patel PERD Centre announces National Workshop on ‘Opportunities and Challenges in Academic Research (with special reference to Life science, Drug and Pharmaceutical Research)’ as a part of the continuing education programme.
The objective of the workshop is to help young researchers and faculty members in early stage of their career, acquaint themselves with dynamic trends of Research Methods which will shape their Research work in right direction. The workshop will provide a promotional and learning platform and familiarize the budding Scientist/Researchers with concepts of design and development of a research proposal, generation and presentation of data, report writing, Ethics in Science and other basic requirement of research.
Workshop will also provide a chance to participate and interact with senior experts in the field to sharpen their skill of research.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Young faculty members and fresh doctorates who wish to excel their career in research. The workshop is also useful to scientific personals from industry engaged in report writing, data analysis and data presentation
THE CONTENTS/SESSIONS
The workshop will include sessions on funding opportunities available with Govt. funding agencies, how to develop a Concept proposal and Research Proposal, Bibliography Management, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Ethics in Science, In silico retrieval of scientific information, IPR, Patents, Project Management etc.
FACULTY
Experienced researchers and experts from industry and academia will be conducting the various sessions
FEES AND REGISTRATION: Rs. 1000/-
• Cancellation is not accepted; however replacement can be made on prior request.
• Enrollment is restricted to 30 participants on first come first served basis.
• Accommodation for few participants will be available on payment and on first come first serve basis
